Previous one lasted over 5 years. This one should do the same. We like this product. Has all the features needed. The price was very good. Delivery was on time. No problems.

Wasn't planning to purchase it, but saw it on sale in the clearance aisle. My daughter needed on that would hold a 17" laptop and fell in love when she saw this. This is the only backpack she is now using for everything.

I received this bag this Crhistmas (2012) as a gift from my girlfriend to replace my messenger bag that just didnt have the room to carry everything I need on a daily basis. This bag is absolutely huge on the inside. It holds my Laptop, Tablet, all of my necessary files, and even my lunch when I have to brown bag it occasionally.
The padding to protect your devices inside is great. Even the padding on the shoulder straps is good enough for you to carry a load all day without much discomfort. This bag was a huge upgrade from my old messenger bag.
However after having the bag for less than two months it has broken. The slider to adjust the strap on the left shoulder strap just broke, causing my back to slip off the other shoulder and crash to the ground. Luckily the padding protected all of my devices so no real harm was done. The warranty should cover replacement or repair of the bag but I will have to send the bag in forst before they will honor the warranty. That really isnt that big of a deal but I now have to purchase a bag in the mean time while i wait to get this one replaced.
This is a nice bag, but there are too many other options out there to consider if you are concerened about being left high and dry with no bag after this one breaks.

I like the compartments and storage. Unfortunately, the seams for the laptop compartment are tearing apart after less than one year. I will replace with a Swiss Gear model now.
